The elderly man, from the Nottinghamshire area, confessed to a multiple criminal counts when he appeared at Leicester Crown Court on recently.

'Candy game'
Mary Prior KC, presenting evidence, detailed the criminal behavior to the judicial body.
She explained his those affected were children from difficult backgrounds who were participating in a youth camp which he operated.
The defendant conducted a "sweet game" with the children, the legal counsel stated, in which he would go into the boys' rooms when they were preparing to sleep and ask them to eat sweets "as quickly as they can".
She told the court the defendant had engaged in this activity with the children "repeatedly", and youngsters had previously fallen ill the subsequent day.
She said the defendant had been able to explain this for many years as the children being "overwrought by enjoyment", until his stepchild had worries in July 2025.
Mrs Prior KC added: "In the summer" his stepson had suspicions about the situation, justifiably.
"They chose" to investigate in the defendant's belongings."
The prosecutor explained objects including lubricant, ointment and medical needles were located, and his stepson notified the police about his worries.
She stated the man proceeded to play the "candy game" with six children that time - July 26th - and they were all sick the following morning.
"The police had not gone out by that point," she stated further.
The oversight body, the investigative body, previously told that it was reviewing law enforcement's management of the situation.
The prosecutor stated the minors were having difficulty walking due to being ill, so Ruben's stepson called the authorities once more.
She explained the defendant then engaged in the "sweet game" in a area of five children.
